Off to the races

We arrived at IAH this morning to discover that our flight had been canceled and re-booked for a later time....a time that would cause us to miss the ship!

Amy managed to hold it together and work through multiple local Delta employees and phone representatives and come up with a new plan.

We are in Portland now, waiting on a plane to Seattle where we've been promised the ship will still be waiting.

Team Neblett goes fishing

We had the cousins in for the weekend and spent Saturday offshore.

It was rougher than we'd hoped, but the kids hung in there all day on a 125nm tour of the Gulf.

Roots

Caroline is having a "roots" June.

Last week was camp at the college where her parents met.

This week she'll run wild on the island and adjacent waterways where her father grew up.

Next week she's in the midwest with that branch of her family.

Momma ditched us for some hooey phlooey fashion show supermodel charity event so C and I hit the seawall for junk food and miniature golf.

I even got to read Dr. Seuss for a bedtime story. What a deal!

1/2 Jumbo corndog (no mustard)

1/2 a funnel cake
Waffle fries
1 Giganto corn dog
2 bottles of water
