A few funnies for a foggy morning

Parker- during the last few weeks, my nephew Parker - age 3 - has been telling me about football teams based on their helmet color and design. He knows them all and can give you random facts about players as well. One day he ran up to his mom Jill all excited because the Sesame Street letter of the day was "Packers". Brayden- while my mom was at my sister's house over the weekend, nephew Brayden- age 4- would run up to her, jump on her back and yell, "I'm a cheetah. Are you fast now?" If you aren't laughing you need to watch more commercials during football. A first grader at chapel- on Tuesday a kid a few rows in front of me was singing the hymn with all his might along with his hand puppet friends. He had both hands up Oobi style singing to the front, turn to sing to each other and turn to sing to him. This morning I walked in Caroline's room to find two American girl dolls "playing" piano. Her piano has a demo mode so I turned it on and those dolls are pretty good pianists! Have a great day!

Rally!!!!!

Caroline and I had blind problems that interfered with our hunt yesterday, but we rallied tonight.

She shot a beautiful, old 10 point that dropped in his tracks.

Momma has better pics on her camera, and a story to tell about the ride home. Here is a teaser for now.

Quality Time

We're gypsies in the palace this week. Mimi and Papa went on a cruise so we have the hunting lease all to ourselves.

The girls both shot well at the target range yesterday, then Caroline put her skills to work tonight with her first harvest. We now have 77 pounds of fresh pork for the freezer. She made a great shot and Dad is awfully proud.

The Flying Neblett's

Great weather and a full house for an early Neblett Christmas this weekend. Amy has most of the pics on her camera but here are a few from my phone. The new and improved zip line was a big hit. We just couldn't keep the grandparents off it long enough for the children to get a turn!

Dickens on the Strand 2012

Galveston has a festival to celebrate Charles Dickens' birthday every December. This year, Caroline's school choir performed at the event. The temperatures were a little warmer than you'd ordinarily want when singing Christmas carols, but we had our friends the Hark's along with their daughter Saylor, so good friends and good times got us in the holiday spirit after all.
